~IN RATHOD MANSION~
Vimla:Aree sab zara Hath jaldi chalao.aree Mohan kathe gaya itna kaam baki hain ishh.
(Vimla:everyone quickly move your hands. Where is Mohan here so much work is left ishh.)
(Here Vimla is telling the workers to clean the mansion and arrange everything as the Rajputs are coming today. Rajputs are the Royal Family of Ratangarh and the top.5 billionaire in the world and today they are knocking the door of Rathod Mansion after 6 years. Yes,6 years it was a long gap but finally they are meeting today)
Vimla:Aree Pratap ji till now you are not ready. How much time will you take ? Are you a girl or what?
Pratap:Aree it's nothing like that Vimla ji it's just that I can't decide what to wear.
(Vimla facepalmed on her husband's silly behavior.He is known as a very powerful and strict man but now he is behaving as a kid which is unbelievable for Vimla)
Vimla:I think you should wear this . It will suit you .
Pratap:ok as you say. Well are the kids ready?it's almost time for their arrival.
Vimla:yes I told Neeram to wake all the kids up . Now only Veer is left. You get changed ,I'm going and waking Veer up.
Pratap:ok .
(Vimla left their shared bedroom and went to Veer's room. She knocked the door but he didn't responded and when she tried to knock again she noticed the door wasn't locked so she entered the room and saw Veer still sleeping as she expected. She went towards him and sat at the edge of the bed ,caressed his hair and said)
Vimla:Veer beta wake up, see its 9 o'clock. Rajputs are soon gonna arrive. Wake up .
Veer:No maa-sa let me sleep *sleepy tone*
Vimla:Quickly wake up or your maa-sa will not talk with you.
Veer:*quickly gets up*no maa-sa see I'm up,please don't do that.
Vimla:*chuckled*your still a child.*caressed his cheeks*now get freshen up they are gonna arrive.
Veer:*hummed in response *
Vimla:Aree what happened Veer?aren't you excited to meet her?
Veer:Yes I'm but.
Vimla:But what Veer?
Veer:Things won't be same after so many years.
Vimla:Its like that because you both are meeting eachother after many years . When you both parted ways 10 years ago for studies and you went to Canada while she went to France,both of you lost contact and after 4 years both the family weren't in touch with eachother because both were engaged in buisness. Now we're finally meeting after years,that's why you are nervous to meet her. Don't worry everything is gonna be alright.
Veer:hope so *sighed*
Vimla:okay now quickly get ready , they can be here any moment ok?I'm going downstairs.
(Veer nodded and Vimla left his room while he went to freshen up. Vimla came downstairs and saw everyone was present there waiting for Rajputs to come. She went and sat with them in the couch.Just then)
Mohan:Hukkum hukkum,Rajputs aa Gaye hain.*Rajputs have arrived*
*hukkum is a term used to refer to a elderly rajput or a powerful person*
(Mohan their most trusted worker came and told them. All smiled and Mina told)
Mina:Aree Vimla , jaa ke zara arti ki thali le aao.*Vimla go and bring plate of Aarti*
*in India Aarti ki thali is a tray where puja materials are kept. It's believed to be a good sign and used for welcoming guests *
Vimla:yes maa-sa.
(Vimla went and bought Aarti ki thali and everyone went and saw Rajputs waiting at the entrance smiling at Rathods. They smiled back and Vimla did everyone's Aarti. As they were a joint family like Rathods it took little longer for Vimla to do Aarti. After Aarti she welcomed them with a happy smile which they did back happily .)
Vimla:Neeram you guide them to the couch while I'm going and keeping the Aarti ki thal.
Neeram:Aree jiji*elder sister-in-law/sister* why you will keep the thali. You guide them while I keep it.
Vimla:Aree why you will do that?let me go and keep.
Neeram:aree no jiji it's OK I'm keeping.
Vimla: But i-*she was interrupted by Mina*
Mina:stop both of you! Mohan ja thali rak ke aa.*Mohan go keep the thali*
Mohan:ji hukkum.*he left with the thali*
Mina:now come inside everyone. Suraj,Ira,Sourav,Gehna,baccho aao aoo. Tum sab ka mare ghar mein Swagate hain.*you all are welcomed in my house*
Pratap:yes buddy come come why you all are standing?
Suraj:yes bro coming . *smiled*
*everyone entered except Manya*
(All took seat in the large couch. The youngesters and elders of both families hugged eachother as they were meeting after a long time)
Prem:how are you all ?
Sourav:we all are fine bro.
Gehna:yeah missed you all too.
Neeram:waise saachi baat hain yeh Gehna. Yaad toh tum logo ki bhi bahut aa rahi thi mare ko aur sab ko pur hum sab ko pata tha ki hum sab phirse jaldi milenge aur dekho khatumaharaj ki kripa is hum sab phirse mil Gaye.
*BTW you are right Gehna. We all missed you all very much but I and everyone else believed that we would meet again soon and see due to khatumaharaj's blessings,we all met again*
Vimla:yes she is right . Khatumaharaj made us all meet eachother again.
Ira:you said right Vimla ji.
Vimla:aree Iruu you shouldn't do ji ji with me . We are besties idiot.
Ira:fine fine vimmu *chuckle*
Mina:BTW where is my and Arup ji's bestfriends Ratish and Damini?
Gehna:Maa-sa and babu-sa went to London for few buisness purpose . But don't worry aunty they will soon arrive. They miss you all a lot and are eager to meet you all.
Neeram:ooo how sweet.
Arup:yeah but where is Manya?
Mihir:Manya is talking with Dadi-sa Dadu-sa thats why she is outside. She would just come.
Arup:oo it's OK.
(Just then they hear footsteps from the stairs,all looked to see Veer was coming downstairs looking very handsome in white shirt and a black tuxedo. He went towards them and took blessings from the elders of Rajput family and hugged the youngesters.)
Veer:how are you all?
Manish:we are fine bro how about you?
Veer:all fine.
Vimla:Aree Veer come sit.And when are you leaving for meeting?
Veer:Maa-sa actually I postponed the meeting as today we all are meeting after a longtime. So thought to spend time with all.
Suraj:how sweet of you Veer.*smiled*
Pratap:you did right Veer. BTW when is the meeting scheduled?
Veer:umm after 2-3 days .
Pratap:I know that you'll be able to get the deal *veer smiled lightly*
Mina:stop this buisness talks and let him sit Pratap . *stern voice*
(Pratap nodded immediately at his mother's stern tone while everyone laughed at his reaction except Veer . As he wasabout to sit his phone ranged and he excused himself,as he left someone said)
? : Hello everyone.
(All turned to the voice's direction and saw Manya coming towards them smiling . She was wearing a jumpsuit and hair open. She came towards the Rathods and took blessings from them.)
Mina:how are you beta?
Manya:im fine dadi-sa and you.I see healthy and beautifull.
Vimla:yeah and you?what about you?
Manya:very good aunty and I see you all are.
Neeram:Manya sit and have something. Tea,coffee,juice,shake.
Manya:yeah but before that I'll have a glass of water. I'm really thirsty.
(As she was about to take a sip , her phone ranged and when she tried to look at the ID,the water dropped in her outfit, she gasped.)
Manya:ishhhh.
Gehna:beta go and take a dress from the luggage.
Ira:yeah then change in the restroom ,go.
Manya:yeah that's the only option left.
(She left for restroom but she came after a longtime and the interior have changed in these years so she's confused that in which room she should go. Then she saw a man standing back facing her wearing a tuxedo. She thought whether it's a member of the house or a servant . She stayed in London for 5 years she thought it's a servant wearing a expensive tuxedo and called him.)
Manya:Excuse me can you tell me where is the guest room for the Rajputs?
~Author's POV~
(Manya said but the person didn't reply and continued talking in his phone. She felt little angry and again said)
Manya:oh hello mister, I'm talking to you . Can't you reply huh?
(He didn't reply which made Manya super pissed and angry . She said more like Shouted)
Manya:HEY YOU , IM TALKING TO YOU . CANT YOU LISTEN HUH?ARE YOU A DEAF OR WHAT?DUFFER!
(After she completed shouting,the man turned around and Manya,she was shocked seeing him,that same face,that same dark brown eyes which she saw before also . Only one thing she was thinking 'what is this khadoos *rude* doing here?'. That man hunged up his call and came towards her angrily. And he was non other than 'Veer Singh Rathod')
~End of Author's POV~
~Veer's POV~
(After I freshen up and got ready. I went downstairs to see Rajputs already sitting in the couch. I went towards them and took blessings from the elders of Rajput family and hugged the Youngsters. I told mom dad and everyone that I postponed meeting and Dadi-sa scolded baba for talking about buisness in morning. I talked with Manish bhai and was going to sit when my phone ranged , it was my secretary. I excused myself and went in one of the corridor for guestrooms and talked with my secretary about a very important topic. After few minutes, I heard someone's voice but as I was engaged in talking with my secretary I didn't heard. The person again called and then I noticed by the voice it was a girl . I ignored and kept on talking but when she Shouted at me angrily ,calling me deaf and duffer. I felt anger rushed inside me, How dare she call me deaf and duffer.I turned around and was shocked to see her again. She was the same girl I saw in the airport. What is SHE doing here?I hunged up my call although my secretary was calling me to check whether I was in the line or not as I wasn't speaking. She was shocked just like me but I didn't gave a damn and went towards her angrily. I pinned her to the nearby wall and by her expression I knew that she was shocked by my action.I said to her angrily)
Veer:how dare you call me a deaf and duffer huh? Who gave you the right to call me that?And first of all tell me what are you doing here?
Manya:I'll not answer any of your questions unless you leave me. *struggling *
Veer:*pinned her more tightly*first answer me. What are you doing here ?*angry tone*
Manya:ahhhh leave me .
Veer:No first answer, are you again trying to steal something from here huh?
Manya:shut up,you have gone nuts and leave me or!
Veer:or what huh ?what will you do?
Manya:This.
(She pushed me very harshly while I stumbled back. She took the chance and ran out of the hallway while I followed. After a lot of running I finally caught her wrist tightly while she struggled to get out of the grip I smirked and said)
Veer:You can't run away,now answer me.
Vimla:what to answer Veer?
(I turned to the direction of the voice and saw that we were in the living room where everyone was sitting ,shocked seeing us. )
Vimla:leave her Veer,Is this how you behave?
Veer:but maa-*interrupted by Vimla*
Vimla-but what huh?
Ira-aree vimmu let him speak first.
Vimla:fine! Veer speak but first leave her hand.
(I did as she said and started explaining her everything that happened a while ago and also the airport incident. Everyone was shocked. Ira aunty quickly turned to that girl)
Ira:how can you call him deaf and duffer?He was busy in talking with someone.
Manya:but he also called me thief.BTW who is he . I never saw him before.
Veer:Yes dadi-sa who is she ?
Mina and Ira:Veer/Manya you don't who is she/he? She/he is Manya Rajput/Veer Singh Rathod, eldest daughter/Eldest son of Rajputs/Rathod. You know her/him right? *said in union*

~Author's POV~
(Both looked at eachother in shock. They were shocked to know that they were childhood friends but because of their both's ego , they didn't apologized or greeted eachother instead rolled eyes at eachother and turned their faces to opposite site. Everyone faceplamed at their silly behavior but one thing was unnoticed by everyone and that was Veer's smirk .)
